Seattle artist Charlieonna Friday is featured on the brand-new tune.
In preparation for the release of his next album Scared 2 Love, 2KBaby just gave fans a new track. In February, the album will be made accessible.
In the song “Don’t Love Me Now,” which also features charlieonnafriday, a rising star from Seattle, 2KBaby opens up about his background and previous problems.
The 22-year-old rapper used a storytelling technique akin to his popular song “OLD STREETS” to rap, “I was just invisible / Thought I wouldn’t be nothing and I’m bein’ literal / We was the lil’ Gs, young, outside, livin’ critical.”
The 2019 hit gained the young rap artist a devoted following after being released and garnered millions of views on YouTube. Lil Durk eventually became interested in the Lousiville native and collaborated with 2K Baby on the song’s remix.
“I want to make everything,” he told the outlet. “Lately I’ve been trying to make pop and another sh*t, but I always continue to do what got me here. I always continue to make music in the lab for the streets, for my people that still love “Old Streets” and still love Lil Sage. I’m trying to master everything in the background.”
Scared 2 Love by 2KBaby will be available to listen to starting on February 3.
